The partnership brings together two family-owned businesses with a shared commitment to quality, customer service, flexibility and innovative design. Both the Vanwelden and Perez families remain actively involved in their respective businesses, ensuring continuity while supporting a shared long-term vision for sustainable growth.
The combination also significantly broadens the solutions available to customers. Together, LAVA and Funcotex offer a comprehensive portfolio ranging from premium knitted mattress fabrics to fully finished zippered cut-and-sew covers, quilted mattress solutions, topper covers and pillowcases.
