General Assembly 2024

On 19^th and 20^th September 2024, EBIA members gathered in Malaga for the 25^th edition of the General assembly.

Among the speakers were Giulia Taveggia (CSIL) who presented the figures of the world mattress industry with a focus on Europe, then Robert Polding (IE University) and Thierry Moubax (AI Compass) talked about AI, challenges and opportunities and the way AI can transform the industry.

After the gala dinner at Picasso museum, the following day of meeting introduced to the audience Diederik Samson for a presentation related to sustainability and eco-design. The round-table to which he also participated along with Emile Coene (Deceuninck) and Janneke Leenaars (Interface) focused on eco-design in the bedding industry.
