Kabelwerk Eupen to Sponsor the EBIA General Assembly 2026 in Malta
EBIA is pleased to announce Kabelwerk Eupen as one of the sponsors of the EBIA General Assembly 2026, taking place in Malta on 17–18 September 2026.
Based in Eupen, East Belgium, Kabelwerk Eupen is a family-owned company combining a long industrial tradition with a strong commitment to innovation. Its roots date back to 1747, when the Bourseaux family established a rope factory. Around 150 years later, the company entered the electrical cable industry and has continued to evolve ever since, expanding its expertise into technical cables, plastic piping systems and synthetic foam products.
Of particular relevance to the bedding sector is Eupen Foam, the company’s foam division. With more than 65 years of experience in synthetic foam production, Eupen Foam supplies solutions for the mattress and furniture industries, as well as for packaging, automotive and medical applications.
Innovation and sustainability have long been central to the company’s development. Kabelwerk Eupen was the first company worldwide to replace CFCs in foam block production with environmentally friendly substances. Today, its approach continues to focus on quality, efficient processes, social responsibility and environmental commitment, supported by internationally recognised standards including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
As a member of EBIA, Kabelwerk Eupen aims to strengthen cooperation within the European bedding industry, exchange best practices with key stakeholders and contribute to addressing the common challenges facing the sector.
We are delighted to have Kabelwerk Eupen supporting the EBIA General Assembly 2026 as one of this year’s sponsors and look forward to welcoming them to Malta on 17–18 September.
The General Assembly will bring together EBIA members and industry representatives for two days of discussions, networking and exchange on the key developments shaping the future of the European bedding industry.
